Die neu von K&N entwickelte 57S Performance Airbox steigert die Beschleunigung und Motorleistung durch eine spürbare Reduzierung des Ansaugwiderstandes. Die K&N 57S Performance Airbox ersetzt den originalen Luftfilterkasten und Luftfilter. Das Airbox Oberteil lässt sich leicht entfernen, um den Filterservice vorzunehmen. Dieses innovative Design liefert extra Leistung und entspricht den neuesten TÜV Vorschriften hin sichtlich Geräusch- und Abgasverhalten.
Die Performance Airbox enthält einen speziell auf das Fahrzeug abgestimmten Ansaugtrichter, sowie einen konischen K&N Luft-filter. Diese Kombination gewährleistet einen gleichmässig ausgerichteten Luftstrom der für ein Plus an Motorleistung und Drehmoment steht. Durch die Reduzierung des Luftwiderstandes kann die neue K&N Performance Airbox mehr Leistung gegenüber dem normalen K&N Tauschfilter liefern. Das restriktivste Bauteil in der Luftzufuhr des Motors beraubt dem Fahrzeug immer Motorleistung. Oftmals ist das restriktivste Bauteil leider der originale Luftfilterkasten. Dieses Problem hat K&N mit der neuen 57S Performance Airbox gelöst.
Garantierte Mehrleistung
57S Performance Airbox werden nur für Fahrzeuge entwickelt, bei denen nachweislicheine Verbesserung der Motorleistung und des Drehmomentes festgestellt wurde. Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, wird auch kein Filterkasten entwickelt. Jede neu entwickelte 57S Performance Airbox wird am Fahrzeug auf einem Rollenleistungsprüfstand getestet. Dieses garantiert eine spührbare Mehrleistung, die der Kunde auch beim Beschleunigen spürt. Typische Leistungssteigerung bei einem 4-Zylinder Motor ca. 4 bis 7 PS. Es wurden sogar Fahrzeuge getestet, bei denen eine Leistungssteigerung von 11 PS festgestellt wurde. Der 57S Filterkasten ist fahrzeugspezifisch entwickelt worden. Alle originalen Haltepunkte und Halterungen können weiterhin verwendet werden. Bohren, schneiden usw. ist nicht notwendig.
